The perfect Mint Julep
  • 6 Mint Leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp of sugar
  • 3/4 cup crushed ice
  • 2 1/2 oz of Kentucky Bourbon
  • Seltzer water
Place the mint leaves in the bottom of the mint julep cup and add the sugar. Muddle it together until the leaves begin to break down. This releases the flavor of the mint. Add a splash of seltzer water, then the crushed ice. Pour the bourbon over the ice and stir. Garnish with a sprig on mint for show!
